About forum rules and "all-bold" topics

Опубликовано:

I'm quite sure that everyone considers those "all-bold" topics quite annoying. As annoying as all-caps titles.

I usually just remove the bold when I see a topic in "all-bold". But it can happen that some user will turn and say "why the fuck did you edit my post? there's nothing in the forum rules against topics all in bold!"

And he would be right.

So, if everyone shares my opinion that "all-bold" topics are as annoying as all-caps titles, maybe we should include that on the forum rules, on the same point as the all-caps mention.

Something like "Topic titles or posts must not be written entirely in capitals or entirely on bold."

I'm sure that he talked about posts, not topic titles :3

Quite obvious :P

Example:

viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12055&start=50#p124143

Note that I only removed the slash and left the rest of the code, so that everyone can realize that the post was all in bold.
