and never will see it on the list if your hosting on the same network. try having a friend find it and/or test connection to your dedicated server (connect ip:port)

You would have to connect internal ip that is assign to your router (192.168.xxx.xxx)

If you can't see it in the list, you haven't portforwarded correctly.

Once you've port-forwarded the port your server is running on, you'll be able to see it on the server list, even if you are running it on the same network. Also, when looking for your game in the serverlist, make sure the filters are set right, such as "show empty" --> "true" , as your server most likely won't have any players when it first starts up.

I think you just haven't port-forwarded correctly.

Just do this checklist.

1. Have you got the good Dedicated Server files?

2. Have you added an exception to the firewall?

3. Have i portforwarded correctly?

If all these 3 are good, then i have got no clue yet how there can be a problem.. also.. did you forward UDP AND TCP?

If it doesn't show up on the server list anyways, ask a friend to join using the /connect command, if that works it should show up on the serverlist.

i have do the portforward correct and the files for the server i use is the dedicater server updater tool how can i add my server in exception to the firewall??

I don't really understand your question, but if you want to make an exception in your firewall there are 2 options:

- When you open the program, just press the 'Allow' button on the screen that appears

- Add an exception: http://www.howtogeek.com/112564/how-to-create-advanced-firewall-rules-in-the-windows-firewall/

yolarrydabomb is right.

Many routers can't process a query on it's own IP, so it's probable that it will never show up on the list for you.

Ask a friend to search it on the list or to connect to it using your external IP and your server's port.

I think he just doesn't understand us, also.. Greek Killer, as said before, This is an Trial and Error process, find what the error is and try to fix it yourself, ask how to solve a certain error.

If you can't solve these things using the process i sent you you'll have a bad time administrating a server..

i'd recommend you renting one at a datacentre or put more effort in this.
