Ok, all of a sudden about 10 seconds after I join ANY server, I get knocked out of it with an error saying "Steam Connect Failed."

This has never happened before to me, so I'm completely unsure as to why this is happening.

I don't use steam ofc, but do have it downloaded/installed.

Port 3074 IS forwarded.

I've seen that happening, but the error wasn't "Steam Connect Failed."

Anyway, in those cases that I saw, the problem was the firewall (although I never even tried to find the port causing the problem. I just disabled the firewall)

Anyway, that doesn't seem to be the same problem, but it won't cost you much to try disabling the firewalls (you never know)

Make "DW" named folder in your game folder. It will help, i think for me it worked.

Yeah, I disabled my firewall awhile ago, and I've had no more problems thus far. Seems to have done the trick.

I just had this problem, after not playing for quite a while. What fixed it for me was running "LaunchIW5M.exe" as an administrator.
