Long post incoming, considerably larger than the one on alterBlitz.
Let me say a bit about myself. I'm an Aussie (i.e. Australian), currently 15 at the time of this post.
I was (as to this moment still am) a developer over at alteriw.net, working on the dedicated server side of things.
I was close to finishing a milestone actually, but then came ATVI, which kinda ruined things, and my weekend for that matter, 1 was getting the C&D, and the other was that my computer's PSU had broke! (not good at all mate)
Getting back to me, I like to program. I started programming when I was in year 4 at my school (aka 2007), when someone showed me a flash file with a "Play" button. I then continued on learning that, then C++ (which I dropped though, because I had no use of it at the time). Around year 7 (aka 2010), I discovered alterIWnet and started joining in on IRC, using only qchat at that time (http://qchat.rizon.net/). Once the dedicated servers were released, I started experimenting with C#, making some pretty crap RCON tools, but it was start. (looking over those files now, I wonder wtf I was doing)
At or about this time was the ACT (anti-cheat-time) and ACR (anti-cheat-recruits), and MaxDamage signed me up. After a month or two, I became a fully fledged ACT member. Then, batfitch released his spoofer, and the ACT was disbanded. I was temporarily moved to Tech Support, but then 'let go'. A few months later, NTAuthority offered me Tech Support, which I pretty much did nothing in, and then Vitality offered me Tech Support Leader, which again, I did nothing in. (well hey, who was to say 'no' to such things?).
Sometime after I was fired as Tech Support (before NTAuthority re-hired me), x3n leaked the main aIW source files, which most would regard as very bad, and everyone hated on x3n.
I, on the other hand, have to thank pretty much all of my inspiration to start reverse engineering and coding in C/C++/[C++/CLI] to him. I started making small changes and improvements to the dedicated servers that aIW used, as those hadn't been paid any attention to over the past year or so, and eventually, asked NTAuthority about being a developer. (quote: "NTAuthority, can I has green?") He said yes, which I didn't believe, but it turned out to be real, and that brings us to 'now'.
Currently I live in Australia/NSW/Sydney, going to International Grammar School and some of my other jobs as of now is managing a breakfloor server on CSS, which is T.D.T (Tactical Defence Team ;p) at http://tdtgaming.com.au/. I use that site for muuuch more than just TDT, such as gyazo, which is in http://tdtgaming.com.au/i/
So, hai.
