its something to do with directX so i dont know

Update you DirectX.

@Ghosty I think it's a problem with the latest revision, as I have this problem as well. That's why I'm on r60.

1.Go to the Start button and select Run.

2.Type in dxdiag and click the OK button to run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

3.The version of Direct X running on your machine is the last item in the System Information box.

4.Click Exit in the lower right hand corner of the window to close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

I have same problem.

but only when I try to connect to the server with the mod download.

once the game starts several times, see image

game works fine in fullscreen and connecting to any server without download mod is fine.

but game crashes only when need to anything download from server i tried to connect to my server with mod download but still crash.maybe I have something wrong on the server

now i check console_mp.log from client side

and I found this

[     16413] Need files: @mods/4gf_mod/mod.iwd@mods/4gf_mod/mod.iwd
[     16413]       dvar set cl_paused 0
[     16634] download url http://%s/dl/mods/4gf_mod/mod.iwd file mods/4gf_mod/mod.iwd size 37602

 

and it seems to me that the url is weird

instead of the variable %s should be the address
