You can't use it on online servers, unless they run this Mod, and you can only use it on ported SP maps, like oilrig.

play in windowed noborder mode or try to set your texture quality to 'automatic'.

Also, the mod also works on roadkill.ff

You probably have to less RAM, try to reduce the amount of programs running in the background, play in windowed no border mode and set your texture quality to low manually, that's all you can do for now.
