I downloaded the client, and when I'm looking for servers it doesn't find any, and in addition my router stops working. It happens every time and I don't know why.I have DIR-601 by D-Link. Is there a specific port that I need to direct?

Does your router have a firewall that could do this?

Are you sure that it's your router? Do other people also have problems at that time, that are using you're network?

Yes, the router stops working (it turns orange, which means the wifi is off) and nobody in my house has any wifi.

and i have to turn it off, then on again...

 

and the ports are forwarded.

is this issue related with IP, DNS or sumthing like that?

Have you tried Steam MW3? Does it work for you?

yep, i have the Steam version, and the other mod version, you know.

both works just fine. just 4D1 that crashes.

maybe is it a new feature or something, i don't know...

Same problem with my earlier DLink, a moved to a Cisco E Series router now works fine

The problem is that the router gets overloaded,try turning UPnP off or get a new router.....

Try updating your firmware..

firmware updated, upnp off... same problem.

guess i have to buy another router.

but i don't understand, the other games runs just fine.
