so my question is if i can use it for play in 4d1.

Yes, just copy your folder somewhere, apply our files( viewtopic.php?f=30&t=10242 ), run our files, launch the game from LaunchIW5M.exe, when you are on the main menu click on NEW STORE to download the DLCs, then use the ''Servers'' tab to play as we don't support matchmaking.

1) Steam can update files that aren't required to be updated

2) Sometimes you have permission issues.
