Yes you need your internal IP.

When you donВґt know it, open cmd and type ipconfig in it.

As stated by MAGIC you won't get to see your own server if you're running it from the same box.

To connect locally you either use the private's IP of your PC or the running the server on your LAN

Keep in mind that your private IP can change if it's set on DHCP.

So you should check it each sesion you're testing/trying to connect to your server.

Yes.I do use my Private IP. It dosen't fix a thing.

All the problems associaed with IW4 servers (invisible to internal ip's and having to use the internal ip to connect) don't exist in IW5M. They only existed because of hackish nature of the server. If you cant see the server then the queryport is probably wrong (along with other ports most likely). The only restriction is that when using direct connect you need the game port in the connect command when you use it on the local network as stated above.

Did you ever notice that you're the only one here who can't setup a dedicated server?

I guess dedicated servers aren't for everyone. You're supposed to be able to deal with the problems that the community might face when they play on your dedicated server. If you're having all that trouble just into setting up a server, stay away from it...
