Hey guys, I'm not really a kind of C++ guy but I know quite a bit of Java and it's very similar to C++.

 

I'm trying to edit an iSnipe mod but I have 1 problem.

Everytime a player joins the game their FOV is automatically set to 80.

I wanna know how I can change it so that they can set it to what they want without it changing back to 80.

I don't like to be spoon fed so if you guys can just give me a tip on how to change that it would be cool

Oh yeah, that's very annoying.

Just search through the .gsc files for "cg_fov" (with notepad++ or similar)

 

You should find one or more lines like this:

self setClientDvar( "cg_fov", "80" );

 

Just deleting them should do the trick.

There should be a _settings.gsc file. You can set the FOV and you can also disable it there
