So I decided I wanted to have some of my steam games as shortcut in metro, too bad metro don't like url shortcuts, so here's the solution I have :
- Firstly I'd recommend you to create a folder for your shortcuts, it'll be easier to manage them, for example, mine is in :
- Then choose the game you want a metro shortcut of and create a regular desktop shortcut, put this shortcut in your shortcut folder
- Open a text file and write the following stuff in it :
- Register this text file as a .bat in your steam shortcut folder with the name you want
- Now create a shortcut to a random .exe to metro
- Go to metro and right click the shortcut to see where the file is
- Once your in the metro shortcut directory, edit the path of the shortcut to :
- Change the icon to the game icon, and here you are with a working metro shortcut to a steam game
