I've been having issues on ping. The ping has a lie to me. Though it says that my ping is 230 - 245, there's a frequent spike that makes me lag the fuck outta my dad's laptop. I use a WiFi, and I only play at night, where no one else uses the goddamn WiFi. Any answers/suggestions? Please tell me.

Try temporarily playing with wired and see if the issue is with your wireless.

These have nothing do with this as those problems wouldn't allow you connect to anything in the first place.

I use Wi-Fi for gaming and never faced such problem,so it should be your router that is causing the problem..

Well it never was like this. When I started playing IW4M the router was very fine, indeed. I dunno what causes the frequent spike. I checked the router, it's good.

Using wifi with a dodgy isp or connection speeds will kill your ping.. Also how is your reception status? Full bars? Low?

It's always on the color that shows when you have 200-299 ping (like yellow). Anyways, I think it's fixed now. I experimented with the router and just long pressed the wifi button (like 5 secs before releasing and doing it again). Now the infection transferred to the main computer my parents use. and the laptop is very fine.
