I was just sitting and waiting for my IW4M to start up and i was looking at the icon and thinking... Thats a fuckin damn ugly icon... So another thing lead to another and i was writing this topic to find the guy who made the logo for 4D1 so i could make a icon instead of that ugly icon. So is there anyone who knows anything about the production of the logo or who made it?

You showed the MW2 icon, so I thought you mean the original icon. I believe it was someone from the AlterGaming community.

Deleted made the logo, but he isn't that active here anymore, but I can make a icon I'm also a great GFX artist

 

Someone requested a icon from me for 4D1 but I made this one really quick

Looks great. Do you know what font he was using? and could you make one 256x256? I have "large icons"

The icon? If so then you have to download the .png file. (Just right click on it an save as .png)

 

When you have downloaded it go to http://www.convertico.com/ and choose "Select File From Your Computer" locate the file on your computer. Double click it and press go. Now it will convert it for you.

 

When it's done its should look like this:

 

Now download the icon by clicking on the little arrow.

Now to change your normal icon to 4D1 icon:

 

Now locate your shortcut:

 

 

and right-click on it and choose properties:

 

 

This window should pop up, when it does make sure its on "shortcut":

After checking that click on change icon.

 

 

Now click on browse:

 

 

Locate and choose the 4D1.ico file:

 

 

And to the rest just click: Open, OK, Apply and OK.

Somehow it doesn't work. It says there are no .png found and if I type the name it says it's not a picture :S

 

EDIT: I downloaded the .ico by clicking right mouse and downloading it. But I had to download via the button Thanks!

I took the liberty of completely redoing it. It is better resolution and a little nicer.

It would be neat to see this implemented as the launcher icon. JS;)
