How to Host multiple servers in 1 PC?

You can run them from the same install with different shortcuts. Just use different config files (server2.cfg etc. unless you want a bunch of servers that are all exactly the same), and run them all on seperate ports.

As rawr said,you must have different server.cfg's for each server and you need different Shortcut parameters

And you will need a different net_port for each server too...

Eg shortcut parameter-

-dedicated +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28960 +exec server.cfg +map mp_highrise +map_rotate

-dedicated +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28961 +exec server1.cfg +map mp_highrise +map_rotate

-dedicated +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28962 +exec server2.cfg +map mp_highrise +map_rotate

If people forget to specify or quote out a rotation on that particular cfg, it will load Rust. If there's a rotation, then it will load the first map on the rotation.

and why would people unknowingly not add a rotation line nor a playlist file? in all these cases, it's the user's choice to run a single map, therefore they should know to use +map rather than +map_rotate.
