hey guys i have a problem installing windows 8 on my 32 bit PC. whenever i install it, i go through the process until "checking capability" comes up, it says that i can install windows 8 because i need to uninstall Office Starter 2010 First, so i go to control panel and uninstall, then look for Office Starter 2010 but its not in the list, i even cleared my registry and all. any help would be much appreciated

Are you trying to upgrade you current OS ?

You could just do a 'fresh' install of windows. Format the hard disk after booting from the CD. (Click advanced instead of upgrade).

Yes i am trying to upgrade my current OS with is Win 7 Home premium

also, OP, tried going into it's folder and using the uninstaller from there?(if it's there, of course)
