i'm newbie, sorry if i post in wrong topic area, i have dual core 2.6 2gb of ram ddr2, ati 6570 128 bit gddr3 win 8 pro x86

i can set max graphic(all effect are on) on single player with very high fps , but when i am play on this server, i must off all the effects, if not, i 've got "ran out of memory" error. when i set low texture(more than 600mb ram), medium(more than 800), and high(more than 1gb), how do i solve this problem

You (likely) need to get more RAM.

 

EDIT: Actually you either need more RAM or a better GPU, because I'm a retard and I'm not sure (well, can't remember) if it means video RAM or "regular" RAM.

on single player mode, i can set max, how many ram do i need? 4gb of ram =)) how about the modern warfare 3, to set max graphic on playing server, modern warfare 3 need more than 8gb of ram

Just change your texture settings to abit lower, and you should stop getting that error.

You should have 4GB of RAM on that system.

But if you don't want to increase the RAM, follow aG~Avail's advice.

if i off all the effect, the problem solved. but the graphic looks bad

Or you could try running the game in windowed mode(or does that fix the directx issues, hm). Are you trying to play on SP maps ? And yes, you need more RAM.

It changes nothing.

You shouldn't play on ported SP maps, because they actually need more RAM then normal maps.

Also do what Avail said.

Try increase page file size on your C: drive

 

Start > computer > system properties > advanced system settings > 1st settings button > advanced tab > click change button > uncheck automatically set sizes etc > put marker to the custom size button > write 4096 as initial size, 6144 for max size > press set and click ok ok ok restart...

i have 2 gb and window 8 automatically set 2gb of virtual ram, i think that itn't help

I have 4gb ram and win7 was set it 4gb and it was enough but when you turn off swap-file windows gives error 'iw4m using lot memory close applications to give memory' or something like that.

I am getting this same error in between map loading screens i have a 2.8 Dual core CPU(OC to 3.4GHZ) 4GB DDR3 Ram Ati Radeon 5670 1GB Graphics Card so i doubt i am really running out of memory as it states in the error? Perhaps there is a memory leak in the game/client causing this? I don't run stupid resolutions and my settings are at medium, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. Oh and i am running Win 7 32 bit, 20MB Broadband connection. :?:

i 've upgraded my ram(plug 2gb), now i have 3.25 gb usable on 32bit os but it is not improved. on single i can set max graphic easily but on this server i must set off all graphic(except shadow and bullet impack) normal texture.
