since you lose money on dota when you die, its not as forgiving as LoL if you do bad at the begining

Train yourself with the AI first to get familiar with most of the heroes and items.

 

Take note that the AI may piss you off a lot. They're tend to gank more often than in DoTA 1 and if the enemy bots get the upper hand, your AI buddies are gonna be dumb as fuck.

 

Edit: As for OP, I play and liked both. Also, you can't ask which is better as both games are completely different. It's like asking CoD or Battlefield, what's better than the other?

but when you actually play them, there are so many differences.....sure they are both Moba games...but....

Played both but enjoyed Dota2 more but I guess its just personal preference.

I still can't understand what the hell is happening in DOTA 2, It's easier to distinct models in DotA....

Playing both, LOL has something better on in though, can't say why or what, though i've been a DotA player for 8 years now, i'm slowly abandoning it.

But really, i've been changing the game type anyways, after all this time, i only play Dota BYS or LOD for fun.
