When I type /record *name* in the command box no white text shows up on my game screen. There is no file created.

Are you doing it while you're actually playing (not in the menu, etc)?

Maybe your demo folder is read-only...

Where is the folder located?

When you use the installer then: %localappdata%/iw4m/m2demo/demos

When you use the manuel way then: rootdir;mw2/m2demo/demos

No "/demos" folder..

try

/record demoname

 

without the "demoname"

I get the white text now because I ran as admin. But the demos don't seem to save even if I type /stoprecord in

Any help guys?

I think it has something to do with Windows

I have to run as admin everytime,if I don't to this there is no white text when I type /record .

The demo file doesn't get saved either way
