when ever I try to install IW4M using the auto installer it doesn't add anything to my game files and when i click launch in the start menu i get an error...

im haveing the same problem

i have tryed everthing ive reinstalled the game, i have redownloaded the torrent, and lots of other things

Did you extract DBNetwork.Indigo.dll aswell?

Are you sure that .net Framework 3.5 is working properly on your operating system?

yes and im running 4.0 .NET framework i just downloaded today

You need 3.5, not 4

Well, windows 7 is the most complicated operating system for fixing that issue because .net Framework 3.5 is part of the operating system on windows 7.

You can try going to the programs list on control panel and then disable and re-enable .net Framework 3.5 on windows features.

Honestly, I don't know how to fix a .net Framework 3.5 problem on windows 7. When such problem happens, I usually advice people to just reinstall windows.

Yeah I have this issue myself.. I've been far too lazy to reinstall windows plus don't have another HDD to store my games on for the reinstall.

 

Also have you tried running iw4m.exe?

I've already told you this but I don't think you quite did it. On my computer my .NET Framework is borked as well (cant run launchiwXm.exe, Sony Vegas, various other things) but I can run iw4m/iw5m.exe fine, which is essentially all launchiwXm.exe does minus checkin for updates.
