It came across my mind that when aIWnet closed, there was an announcement stating there would be two new gaming communities: fourdeltaone and altergaming. By curiosity, I came back on those websites around september to notice it was not as dead as I thought (thanks 4D1!)

I just wondered about what happened to altergaming.

It never changed to deltawarfare. Deltawarfare was about the game they were developing at AlterGaming forums, same thing about friction afaik. So tehnically, AG died.

Would be like, however it still isn't the actual alterGaming staff team. It simply is a new person starting a new project based of the work of a previous, failed project (DeltaWarfare). DeltaWarfare was simply the alterFPS unit of alterGaming separating after the hard-drive failure. DeltaWarfare failed due to one person being given all the responsibility, and when he was away, the project collapsed.

 

Lesson learned: Never put too much trust, and responsibility into one person. If that person goes, everything is lost.

Yup, but that project was theoretically a team effort (multiple developers), and they could have shared that massive responsibility.

 

I completely agree that DRKNZZ was a clever talented person, however, it should have been spread out so that one person didn't have the entire playing role.
