CS:GO isn't competitive at all. Call of Duty 4, and Counter-Strike: Source were competitive. CS:GO is just a huge nope.

U srs? Go watch some matches from NiP. And I would say that CS:S was more of a fungame, where 1.6 and CS:GO takes more skill, due to the less damage on weapons and more recoil.

Games don't always have to be about winning against other players, but that seems to be the most popular type, hence FPSs are the most popular as other genres don't lend themselves well to competing with others (competing not meaning in competitions). The only non-FPS game I can think of at the moment that is only about murdering other players is Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.

Well, the only other game that could've won is Borderlands 2. Other than that, Halo 4 is a lot better than any game I've played this year. Mass Effect 3 is great, but it lacks MASSIVELY in replay value and the ending is stupid. Even BO2 got more replay value and you can play the single-player modes in that for a longer time than in ME3.

 

I'm so fucking happy that BO2 didn't get ANY reward

 

Also, what the fuck is up with the "best indie" nomination? Fez is a unique and great indie game, that doesn't mean necessarily that it's the best. The best indie ever is Trials: Evolution. Like, it's not "a" game, it's many games. How people are able to create all those things, I've yet to find out of, but yea, that game is now like "Oh, you're sick of driving around with a motorbike? Here, play some pac-man and pinball."

If there's any game with more variety than that, where you don't have to pay for ANYTHING EXTRA for that, then come at me bro.

That game contains endless fun, as there are endless amount of tracks to play, as more and more is coming every day.

 

And I bet, I fucking bet that someone will eventually create a Fez themed map in that game (maybe it has already happened), using the SAME dynamics and same gameplay style, just on a motorbike instead. gg
