Currently, their is no party system in the game. You have to find the server your friends are in and join that server.

Yes, there is a party system. You have to open your ports, and then your friend can connect using "/connect YOURIP:28960".

Sometimes you will have to disable your firewall.

You could also use Hamachi or tunglee(or however it is called).
