It feels like the level of skill on consoles is lower than the skill level on pc.

Are you sure about that?

Console - everyone has the same hardware, so playing is actually skill dependent, not who-has-more-fps/mouse dependent(although those scuff controllers and 1000€ headsets are an exception)

As The_InHuman said, If you play on a console, you have the same chances of winning as all the other players. The only difference between the console players is their skill and connection.

What are the reasons to even consider switching to console? Lack of money? Then get a job and buy/build a sick gaming pc.

I don't play enough games anymore to make it worth buying a gaming pc, that's why I own a console. That and the fact that most of my friends own a console.

This also ^

Pretty much what The_InHuman said.

Also, I have played AC III, M.W.2 and 3, and UnCharted on PS3 on a 52" HD TV and must say I loved them!

Thing is, my pc is quite old and can't run anything, but M.W.2 and of course, chess and a few other classics such as spider solitaire - so I have yet to see for myself those epic looking graphics on a pc to pronounce myself into the pc denomination.

Also: with an emulator you play nearly ANY game you want. The only one which wasn't "fully" developed was the xbox-emulator..

But PCSX1/2/3, Dolphin, Project64 the list is soo long..
