Yes they were called "Speed"-Races. The steering was awful. Like driving a train on the road. The "Flipping". I hated this SO MUCH. It seemed the cars are made of gummy. Just a small jump and they are bumping off up and flip. Same stuff?^^ LOL - 36 cars instead of 72 - no "damage" only scratches. - no animated crowd or girls waving the startflag. - no graffities (and like you said, crap graphics) - no windtunnel (↑ graphics..) - hardly any smoke (↑ graphics) although in most wanted, carbon,... was "alot" of smoke - alot less tuningstuff.. e.g. the body-kit of the M3 E64.. There was the same like in MW on PC, PS3, Xbox360. Seriously.. WHY ? - ... And Carbon wos also cut a bit.

There was a time where they made some of the best racing games. But this does NOT apologize how they destroyed "Need For Speed". Carbon: Steering was bad even when tuning optimal. The gametime was.. 1-2 days. Pro Street: Steering even worse than in NFSC a ton of bugs, the PS2-version was half of the normal version, but with the SAME price! (same for UC) And its not about the tuning (the vinyl-editor in carbon was also a little milestone but wasn't finished), it's about gameplay.. It's about everything.

Black Box: The biggest milestone was Most Wanted 2005. 2006 Carbon (not bad but not as good as MW) 2007 Pro Street 2008 Undercover 2010 World 2011 The Run Yeah sure.... And as I already said: There were attempts!

What EA should do (although this whole money-addicted, betraying, exploiting company should be "visited" by al-Qaida) is kicking out EA Black Box. This studio destroyed NFS.. Although they developed Most Wanted and more. I can't explain why, but they just keep developing SHIT games. Why? Why the hell?
