Probably old news for some of you, but I just watched this video and I found it amazing. Might be interesting if you haven't seen it yet.

Its amazing, definitly a big improvment over UE3.

I hope it gets used as much as the old one did. :)

It looks good but ( completely speculating here ) it requires some pretty beefy hardware i doubt a even a 680 would run this at 60 fps in 1080 .

What if it would be pretty optimized ?

It'll be more than optimised thanks to consoles.

Unreal has always had very good optimization, even my 580 can run any UE3 game at UL7RA, usually >90fps

The UE4 demo is running on PC, specifically an Intel Core i7 processor with an NVIDIA GTX680 and 16GB of RAM - what Epic terms a standard development box.

A bit of high-end, but achievable.

Dont worry unreal engine was always one of the best optimized engines.

At 1080 not some silly 4:3 resolution that you have.

>implying resolution makes any real difference in ue, especially on a 580

ha, if I run at 640*480 I get about 3 fps more
