Hello i have that error several times atm on servers where i got an ping of 43 or something and cant find any fix for it on forum this havent been a problem before. And sometimes if i wait some hours i am able to join the same server i tryed last time?

I've got same problem for server with ping 60-70...

This seems to be a more common error since this recent revision. I've had it myself, and plenty of other people on plenty of servers to. preauthenticate could be making this happen.

i got an SSD i dont have to defrag so that cant be the problem :S

try sv_maxping 0 (in console obviously)

That's a server command, not a client command.

It would be a workaround for players not being able to join your server, but it won't help if you can't join other servers.

Same error, i don't know what to do..
