Hi at all

I have a problem with the MW3 Multiplayer. I installed the game on my computer. I start the game and login with my account, that works. In the game i click on Servers to play and then i get "Connecting to online services". After 1 minute it says: "The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 server is not available at this thime. Pleasy try again later...". I connected my clock on my pc with a server(how it says in FAQ), i disabled my antivirus and i disabled my firewall and i still got this problem. Can anybody help me with this problem? My friends doesnt have this problem... I dont know how to fix it..

thanks

Well, since this isn't locked yet and I've found no solution for my problem (which is exactly the same as described in the 1st post), I'm just going to bump this instead of opening up a new topic.

I've been playing IW5M without any problems since it has been released, but after not playing for ~1-2 months it just doesn't connect to the master server for whatever reason. And no, it's not a router issue, as nothing has changed since then and I could always play fine. IW4M doesn't show any problems either, Firewall does allow connections to both.

Any suggestions?

Ok, the problem is still there; I have to unplug my router and plug it in every time I want to connect to the master server as it seems. Again, no problem with IW4M.

I thought the issue might be related to the network configurations of the WP8 XDE, but disabling the network bridge didn't change anything the last time I've tried it and as it's just stuff used by the emulator (which is a VM), it simply wouldn't make any sense if it was affecting my usual wifi connection when inactive.

Any further suggestions?

go to control panel -> network and internet -> network devices -> right click on ur router -> properties -> settings(wait some time)-> add->

give a name to the rule (ex: iw5m), type ur ip (go to cmd and type ipconfig for ur ip), then choose UDP and write 3074 on the two textboxes then ok -> ok

and thats it.

Try this out, hopefully it works.

Port forwarding was never a problem, as I'm using a DMZ.

Any further suggestions?

EDIT: Seems that IW5M disconnects me from the internet upon getting the "server is not available at this time" message. Didn't notice that before, but I still know next to nothing about what might be the cause.

Then we got the cause for it. Your router's UPnP goes berserk and forces the router to reboot. That's why you can't get the stun packages.

Try to upgrade your router's firmware, or get a better one.

On Thomson TG series routers, restoring factory defaults will fix that issue for some time.

Thanks, but that still doesn't explain why I could always play since release until 2 months ago.

There isn't a firmware upgrade (at least not for my HW revision), so there's nothing I can do about that. No alternative FWs either.

I think I just did explain that...

You said it's an UPnP issue. That doesn't explain why it was working all the time before, as I haven't changed anything in my router settings since that time.

Also, Thomson routers are completely unrelated to this as I don't even have one.

EDIT: That reset seems to have happened just once, because when I attempted to connect this time, my connection was still there.

EDIT2: Not being able to connect to the master server seems to be a DMZ issue; I'm able to connect if I disable it and forward the required ports, but it shows that my NAT is strict and the server browser shows no servers at all even though I've forwarded 3074 already. Is there any other ports I have to open?
