i really don't want to disrespect NTAuthority for all his past and present work, but i have to be honest. for me, iw4m doesn't run as smooth as the old alteriwnet client and even the alterrev one (which is an even some months older revision of your code). i don't know why, but it has extreme lag, even if i have a 20-30 ms ping. i never experienced that bad lag in aiw/arev, it's like playing black ops

 

also the gameplay feeling is quite different, i can't explain it to well, but it's not why i'm used to. maybe because it's based on an iw4 build prior the final model1887 patch? the aspect ratio feels strange, altough i have set the field of view to 80 degrees as i had this option set to the same value in aiw/arev also. when i get killed and my character falls to the ground in 3rd person mode, it feels like i'm playing a game based on the iw3-engine kinda. it's though to explain in english for me.

 

maybe it's all because it's based on nta's iw4m2 project and not iw4m1?! i don't know.

 

that's the reason why i'm sad that the alterrev gets heavily attacked by little children. they did a great job with reviving the old project immediately.

 

the code is still your intellectual property, it was just used by some other people to give people like me the oppurtunity to continue playing this game, which isn't bad at all. no one can steal your skills and mind.

information should be lincense free for all, like wikipedia and libraries with books, filesharing for the win baby. think about it. you all have somewhere and somehow profited from information of other people.

you will get over it when you get older, believe me.
