Every single time I click "View Servers" while in-game, ALL my internet connections (ethernet, wifi, 4G, USB tether from phone) suddenly quit out. Obviously, this means I cannot play the game. Soon as I quit the game entirely, those connections return. I am on the latest MW3 client, Latest version of IW5M, and this is a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64. This is also occuring on my friends laptop (I am using a laptop as well), but the exact same folder on the exact same external drive on a desktop works perfect. Is laptops not supported? Help would be appreciated!!

Probably it works on desktop because it's connected by cable and wireless connections are often less reliable than wired

this happens to me too.. I use wireless connection.. every 10 minutes I get disconnect (Error The a popular FPS series Server is not available at this time.. then the fucking internet/Router crashes)

i think u have ur answer. stop connecting with wifi and use LAN cable. its much more reliable.

Well, i had the same issue long time ago when i was using a Pro-Link router. Updating my router firmware solved the issue.

I use the LAN cable to play online games, this doesnt help anything. The router itself reboots.

There is no firmware update for my router, and the common linux based ones arent available for my model

Sorry for double post, but had some new info to add. After a call to D-Link customer support, they gave me an RMA. However, they want me to pay to have it shipped there and back, and I have to wait for it to be fixed. If I am going to be paying that much to be getting it fixed, and waiting that long, I think I will just buy a new one. Thanks for the help anyways guys. If someone has any better ideas, I am game to try them.
