So SP maps can be ported to MP, ok, but why cant MP maps from CoD4 or blackOps or Mw3 be ported to 4D1? curious...

    They (some anyways) can, but the fast files differ so much from IW4's that it'd take a long time to do from what I understand.

    (may be wrong)

     

    Though some of these maps were ported for IW4C and have a much similar fast file 'type' that they're able to port them over.
