Disable your router's firewall, or any firewall that might be blocking your communication with our servers.

Fail, I've turn off all of my firewalls and nothing changes, on this 2013 IW5 4D1 will be steam authorization failed status forever?

 

Mostly from my country had the same problem when they use the "A" Internet provider with USB modem, I use that "A" provider with my own USB modem too. The IP is 114.79.28.xxx, I've try anything else but it still occured...

How long I must wait to fix this problem?

Do you get that while trying to join every server?

If I had a clue, I would've told you, but I find it pretty silly calling up and complaining to the customer service just because I can't play an online game....

 

Anyways, the only solution to the problem would be to change ISP..... Unless NTA can come up with a solution

all you have to do is downloading hotspot shield(google it) and activate it then try to join a server and Baaaaaaaam!! no crappy errors anymore

but won't you get super crappy ping and intense lag then? Also, the OP already uses a USB modem, pretty sure he has shitty lag already.

hotspot shield works, but i get 200+ ping which makes the game almost impossible to play.

A question for the Admins of 4d1 if I may:

Could the problem be that i'm using static ip adress, instead od dinamic?

well you just can't play without hotspot right now until the next update.

Some east-world Internet Providers are using big proxy servers as a firewall to log and censor the internet traffic of their customers. This is really something to worry about.

 

 

That's just it, I don't think I've ever heard of this particular provider using such a thing you describe..... But the person using it knows better than me

also in Kosovo it's the same without hotspot shield you get steam authorization failed

im from uzbekistan and when i updated i took this error only with local server (tasix)

No. its not about being real or anything. they are real but different. if u want to consider realism, this whole thing is virtual. realizing what exactly proxies do may help you about what im exactly talking about.

Ok, here's my new experiences after I dont play IW5M Fourdeltaone in January.

 

Tried to join Malaysian server and my country's (Indonesia) local server, it said Steam Authorization Failed, but after I try to join B20Gaming (I believe this's Indian server, CMIIW) and walk for a little while (5~10 minutes) when this server is empty, that "Steam Authorization Failed" not occurs. I've tried 2 times and I can play smoothly without any probs.

 

Can you explain it why it's just local server?

Is the local server's setting that caused this problem to my Internet Provider?

been setting up my 4D1 again, though yes I got same event like cedrick, but mine was on a Russian server (forgot the name, but it has a russian tag on above right screen) I walked for 1 minute and no error encountered

but when I try some asian, american, and europe server, I encounter those error again

my guess is the update's bugged, or its actually depends on the server connection, or server need to add some additional script with connection

 

please fix this update, playing on tekno is just like raped by 10 years old kid T-T
