mine was updated and yet I cant even play on my local server

 

been trying to play on BRO server, and it works smoothly, but of course, bad ping for me T_T

few servers is working for me and mostly its europe.

the update is not the problem, although i have the latest, r29

i think someone in fd1 messed up something, and now many people that have specific IP addresses , or specific IS providers cant play

can i downgarde to r 28

in r 28 everything was ok

I think that it's possible for these people to play in the servers in which (when r28 was installed) the owners complained about special character's not working. I guess those who is having this problem might try these servers.

Yes I had the same problem with IW4M, I've tried another 4D1 modded games and same event occurs, I cant play in any server

I have the same problem in IW5M and the same problem in IW4M.I can not play on any server because of this error.

hhmmm funny, last time my post said, I can play on BRO server, but today when I try to join, I got this error again, oh god why T-T

here's an idea:

why don't you just reverse whatever change caused this bug? the game worked fine before. why change something that works??

im stuck on connecting services. like for almost a month now, sometimes i can connect but most of the time i cant. i tried portforwarding, time sync, turning off windows firewall and AV and Router firewall. also the port exception.

Is the rest of your clan from Macedonia aswell? Are you trying to connect to a server hosted in Macedonia?

Some ISPs in the balkans do address translations. That could explain it.

our servers are hosted in germany

so far, any server that i have tried to connect to gives me that error. it all started sometime at the beginning of January

I fixed the problem. You need the nosTEAM multiplayer update which you can download at ther website (nosteam . ro) just click on the m w 3 4d1 mutliplayer link. its yellow.

this is a patch for r25 version of the game. when i start the game , it automatically updates to the latest version (r29). what i'm saying is that nothing changes. the error is still there

does someone have a contact with 4D1 to fix this update if you do please ask them

 

From what I know the players from Iraq are behind some kind of proxy which causes this issue?

I don't remember getting this error on IW5M. FYI I'm from Iran too.

i changed my isp, and now i can finaly play the game.

they said that with my previous isp some ports were closed. i guess that was the problem all along

Well, that's sad for some, they would have hard time changing ISP.

guys I'm from Iraq and this error occurs with certain providers cuz when I change the provider this error disappears and ping becomes great
