dammn i read this thread like 20 times to be sure i did everything right but it keeps saying : seems that u dont have the map mp_nuked, pls go to the main menu and then shop , but i already run the installer , i put the dlc files into dlc , to be more than just 100 percent sure i put the files in the alter folder , put it into the appdata local dlc folder , i even put it into the zone/german folder but nope :S still says the same any ideas ? coz devmap mp_nuked says -> u dont have the map mp_nuked

soo, the reason it seems like the guns have a "saftey" on is bc the server sdmins need to update? i only tried a couple servers, but it's almost impossible to shoot anybody, it goes click -- then fires -- and will not repeat fire. it sucks. I gathered from an earlier reply that this should be cleared up after the admins update, right? I'd just like to clarify, thanks.

Try to re-update your client; delete caches.xml, m2demo, zone from/local/IW4M/.

Yes, we are also aware of the problem with XP. You will get a nasy 0xc000005 error which won't allow you to play mp_nuked, for now. So you can either update or wait. Hm, need to add his to the main post too.

idk why but my download of the nuketown dlc in stuck in utorrent it says downloading metadata and it's been like that for 20 min now. Any one know of any solution?

If you still get fatal error after doing everything thats told in this thread, rename the iw4m.dat to iw4m.exe and run it as admin.

Oh, so you don't want nuketown and other maps, and most likely new weapons ? Fine then.

 

Ping doesn't have any relation to the update, that's on your side, shut down your torrent and such. And about the 'no-ammo' tell the owners of the severs to update. Was it that hard ? No.

Please make an option to access create a class menu, while clock is ticking in match end just like in COD4, because it is annoying to disconnect from server if I want to change my class or killstreaks and then reconnect. That would be very appreciated.

There is already a client side mod for that, check iw4m/mods.

They should disable shotguns on the nuketown map, people just run around and spray, isn't fun anymore. The map is more balanced in Black ops

Then you should do something else rather than playing games... Or learn to play Every FPS game have shotguns and powered like that, every small map! Host a server without shotguns but they will not ruin the game because of you!

Why ? You can always make a mod that disables the shottys.
