SCNR :)

To stay kind of ontopic: There was a pretty interesting debate going on at Twitter between @i0n1c and the other jailbreak devs whether it's appropriate to place that many ads on a website dedicated to a jailbreak by people who are just doing it because they are freedom fighters according to their own words and not doing anything for the money.

But jailbreak is not good in leght ?

The only sense I could find is that jaillbreak is not good in the long run, and if that's what you're trying to say, I must tell you you're wrong. It's a software modification on a frequently updated OS, so there's nothing to lose.

Your hardware doesn't suffer, and even if your software does get messed up, it's most likely your fault, and it can always be restored from backup, so yeah, nothing to lose at all.

I'm still running jailbroken iOS 4.3.3 (yeah, I know, old) for about 2 years now, and I don't have plans to update it as long as it runs. Jailbroken the day I installed that iOS version, never had to restore it, runs perfectly all the time.

iOS 5.1.1 master race

I won't upgrade, iOS 6 seems really useless for me, there's nothing new I want, really

inb4 shitstorm

Why would there be?

He was probably expecting some android vs iOS flamewar.

Meh...

Also, note, I never wanted to upgrade from 5.1.1 but my OS kinda failed at one point and i had to restore it, which ment to update it ;p so I was waiting for this jailbreak.

Nigger, ever heard of SHSH blobs?

Of course i did, I tried like everything, but meh, had to do everything from the start again. Not like it matters, and 6.x is 'nice'.

I held back at first but finally decided to JB mine the other day, last one I was on was IOS4 I think. Definitely nice to be able to tweak some options again, especially with SBSettings. Still a bit frustrating that there are so many outdated app's on Cydia but i'm sure they'll pick up soon.

SBSettings is horrible, stop using it
