rcon wont work for some reason

I have got the code in our file "Lets say for security purpose i used rconpass for the pass , the code we have is 

seta rcon_password "rconpass"

 

And for some reason when we launch and go into our server and push Shift + ~ it doesnt come up with rcon in the front. I am wondering on how we can get this to show up again , and to be able to connect to the rcon because when we type in /rcon login password or login password it says you have to be loggin into rcon before using these commands .

    Open a calculator up and go to view>Programmer. Now look up the forum id's by viewing your profile and convert the ID to hex. example..

    or just type in status with your dedicated server once you join.

    You were trying to use 1.8.2 binary version with cod6 parser, pointing to what's probably your game port, and not the rcon port.

    You need to use a version that supports cod8 parser, and you need to use net_masterserverport as the rcon port.
