Ever since fourdeltaone has updated after one day of playing i keep getting fps drops from like 125 down to 60 70. Since im an isnipe player when i would scope in it would freeze for a sec or two and its really irritating. I have a 6870 so i know it isn't hardware considering i can play legit IW4 fine. I dont know what to do now it's really frustrating that i can't play anything because of these random drops. It mostly drops when im outside of a building but sometimes in buildings too it started after the update. I was able to play fine for months on max settings now im getting this problem. I still get the problem no way to fix it. In skidrow for example looking at a wall thats in the middle where the broken car is iget like 90 fps but when i go inside i get 200-300 fps outside aroudn those areas i get 90 fps dropping to 70 and sometimes .01 second freezes which relay screws me up.

Try what was suggested in your first thread, or at least tell us what that did.

I did everything in the thread nothing happened and i posted a new one cause it was far back i dont think anyhone would bother answering

my advice, test making a partition with XP and install iw4m this worked for me very well no fps drops anymore.

Did you use the -d3d9 parameter correctly? Because you said you didn't understand how that worked in the other thread..

But afaik it should look like this: "C:\Users\Jarvis\AppData\Local\IW4M\LaunchIW4M.exe" -d3d9

If i do it that way it wont accept it so yeah

nvm that i have the parameters set its all good but i still get fps drops before i didnt get it now ido after the updates

still microlags fps drops low fps outside but 300fps 200 fps inside

sadly some idiot fucked up everyones fps with some kind of alt tab bullshit fix,

 

my suggestion is to not ply 4D1 until they fix all these stupid problems, IMO i would much rather have the game back how it was before nuketown, when my fps was perfect.

 

Having an old ported map with the worst spawns in MW2 history is not worth all these fps problems.

 

and i love how all the moderators try to avoid the problem and pretend its not serious lol
