So I am trying to add a custom cfg to my mw2 in order to enhance my FPS!

The problem is everytime I start the game instead of my MW2 using the config_mp it uses the config_m2 , which just creates itself.

 

My config just will not work at all it seems! Any solutions?

Rename your FPS config to config_m2.cfg or executes your config with

exec config_mp.cfg

I tried this but when I do this it asks me when I start my game if I want to optimize my settings, I click yes or no and my game crashes
