Here's premiere trailer:

Looks awesome 8-)

I think it looks like crap, and I usually support Ubisoft. I think it has nothing to do with assassins creed anymore, what the fuck are doing assassins on a ship? And why is there a skull in their flag? Assassins shouldn't be the bad guys. I think they will somehow turn the story so they are the good guys stopping the evil Templers ships or something like that.

Do you really think Assassins were the good guys?

I am not sure if they are good or not, but if I had to chose one of them I would go with the Assassins. They fight for freedom and equality not like the templars that only fight for the rich people and attack the poor people. I think both of them are wrong but I prefer the assassins over the templar.

As for now, I'm very hyped! I've been a fan of the AC series ever since the first one (collectors edition of them all, except for the first AC game, which I didn't preorder), and frankly; this looks great! I was at first very disappointed when I heard about the setting - I mean, I hated the naval missions in AC3, why would I like a game based on only naval gameplay? But after this trailer, I realised that the game is much more. "Leaked" screenshots shows interesting settings like urban cities and tropical forests. Another thing to notice is the personality of the new character. He is, like Connor, introverted and brutal. Although, they somehow merged the good parts of ezio and connor into this one new protagonist: They realised that Connor was too closed, making him a difficult character to understand for the majority of the lel-dis-game-suks- players, who instead preferred the much more likeable, badass-playboy-with-a-sexy-deep-voice-and-accent character such as Ezio was.

I'm gonna make a topic in the next few days of what their fight symbolizes.

People got it completely wrong, Templars want to maintain peace by giving rules to people and Assassins are terrorist that want complete anarchy, where people are free to do anything. Also, templars completed their objectives by collaborating with more and more powerful people, and by money, assassins were just killing everyone who isn't like-minded.

am I the only one not to like the AC series? AC1 was somewhat fun although it got tedious, AC2 was just boring from the start, and I didn't even bother trying any of the other ones as they seemed to base on knowing the base story.

i agree with you, as I played through AC1, then tried the other games, but just got really bored after a few moments

AC1 was indeed tedious with its repetitive missions, but they got better with the newer games. The AC E3 demos shows a lot of what the game is like, so compare the different demos if you're planning on giving the series a new chance:

Feel free to invite me into that thread ;)

This is why I said both of them are wrong. Both groups want peace. The assassins do it wrong, when you give people freedom they will abuse it, someone must control the mass. The bad thing about the Templars is that they abuse their power, they are selfish and want to get more and more power. In many AC games you can see them abuse the poor people.

I think complete anarchy would be bad but sometimes the government needs a kick in their ass.

I disagree, I think AC1 was really bad. It was so bad that I didn't even check the AC2 trailers or videos. It was just boring as hell.

Anyway, many people said that AC2 was a great game and so I finally tried it, like a month after the release. Since then I play all the AC games.

my reason wasn't even about that, more like how using a horse in the outside world caused you to get chased by hordes of people so going to a different town was a terrible experiencr

Here's trailer about AC IV hero, Edward Kenway:

He looks badass

Of course he does, a cinematic trailer always looks badass. Im waiting for a Gameplay trailer, which sadlly wont come out until E3.

BTW This game has been in development since 2011 Summer.

Soo a 2 year development cycle? Well lets see if the fuck it up or not :)

Also where did u get the info that it was being developed for 2 years?

Опубликовано:

They always say shit like that, they also said that they were working since years on ac3 and their final game was trash.

I gotta say I am actually looking forward to this, despite not thinking much of AC3 by the end of it. Will just have to wait and see if the gameplay actually changes enough to make it seem fresh.

Well, game being mostly naval is fresh... even though it was introduced in AC3, it was still rarely used.

I think i'm definitely starting to come around to the idea after some more bits of preview information. I like the sound of being able to seamlessly board a ship, sail about etc and then jump back onto land when ready. If it's handled in much the same way as travelling with a horse is already, then that could be good fun

Rely but the combat was easy and most of them could be avoided , even if you were a bad fighter you could just run and they would stop chasing .

Well, AC is ruined. What the hell is wrong with making the franchise stealth based? Look at Altair, the best. He was like a ghost between the crowd, killing the target, flees away without getting caught. He was the perfect assassin. He did everything for the creed, unlike Ezio, connor and this newfag. I thought this was ASSASSIN'S creed. Not pirate creed. Altair is disappointed. Agent 47 would have been the best if he was a part of the assassin's creed.
