Hi, I have a Server on a dedicated server. I start it and I am able to join it using the connect command. But for some reason it isn't appearing in the main server listing.

 

The config file has the master server entry's.

 

set sv_master2 "master.alterrev.net"		// aRev client (sv_master2 "" to disable this)
set sv_master3 "server.iw4play.de"		// IW4Play Client (sv_master3 "" to disable this)

 

Is this a common issue and is there a solution?

Did you forward the serverport? Also some routers canВґt query its own IP. So ask your friends, if they can see your server

It is in a datacenter, all ports are open. I am in a different country to it so it shouldn't be querying its own IP.

Do you have any firewall filtering the UDP source port?

There is no firewall or filtering.

When I join the game by typing the "connect" command. And I alt+tab back in, it flashes at a private match window before joining the server. Also I can rank up in the game as well.

I can see my server if I go to the defuse list.

If you try and search for that in the Server list, for wServers TDM it is not there.

That is normal. you would have to connect ip manually. I'm sure it will show on everybody's server list but yours..

Why would it show it on everyone else's but not mine? The server is on a dedicated server in Germany. I am in the UK.

 

Can anyone else link their config's and startup command lines to see if I have anything in by mistake?
