Well without a mod you can't.

Just go to _class.gsc and find "shotgun" as a case/switch statement and just remove it. Then put the GSC in m2demo\maps\mp\gametypes of your server.

You could do it weapon files, may cause the no ammo problem (POSSIBLY). Just get the weapon file for the shotgun that doesn't have that attachment and rename it to the weapon file that does have that attachment.

 

For example: Say you are wanting to remove the FMJ attachment for the SPAS-12.

 

You take file spas12 and rename it to spas12_fmj.

 

Make a folder called "weapons" (without the quotes, of course), inside that folder make a folder called "mp", then put the spas12_fmj file in the "mp" folder.

 

Lastly put the "weapons" folder directly into an IWD and make sure that you set the server to load that IWD.

Why would you have to rejoin the server...? When you download files from a server the game automatically changes the fs_game and does a vid_restart and then it reconnects you to the server...

Since there are many people experiencing crashes on vid_restart, I'd still prefer the _class.gsc solution.
