Seems in unable to join any games that are playing on the newer maps, client just freezes and error appears im pretty sure its because i don't have the new maps. I know there is a place to download them but i can't find the thread anywhere, anyone help me out?

 

Search button tells me "No topics with this subject" when i click it or i would just search for the thread.

I'm guessing that is because you are playing 4D1 with the old alterIW client. You are either going to have to add a lot of stuff or get skidrow's MW2.

I'm playing with the old aIW client just fine. All I did was drop in the 4D1 files and was good to go.

EDIT: Aah, I see. Turns out I was missing so_ghillies.ff and invasion.ff. Other than those two, I had everything. Still, no need to go downloading another, what, 12GB?
