Laptop specs: (laptop, yes i know...) Acer Aspire 5742G 452GB HDD Intel Core i5 2.53GHz 4GB RAM 64-bit No graphics card? There is no way you can run MW2 at a decent resolution with a decent FPS without one.

Personally I find the MW3 graphics to be...unappealing. They just look so bland. MW2 graphics just somehow feel like they are more vibrant with more colours and contrast. Or I could just be imagining it all...

That is what everyone is going to think...I'm afraid that everyone will just sit in the spawn menu waiting for the AC-130 and not play the objective...not unlike how we already have heli and jet campers...

How could i join a steam based vac secured server with IW4M? i read that you need a legit CoD: Modern Warfare 2 (Steam) to play, sorry but i dont understand anything and i really want to play. Sorry for double posting. The Steam MW2 does not have servers. It is purely based on matchmaking and finding regular players as hosts for the game. 4D1 is completely separate from the Steam version of MW2. It looks similar, but everything (ranks, servers, players) is completely separate. You also don't need a legit MW2 to play, though you are encouraged to buy one. Hope that clears things up

Try checking if config_m2 is marked as "read-only". Also, deleting config_mp won't do anything. Try deleting config_m2.

Yeah it is pretty hard to tell when they are using wallhacks or just using a really good headset. But I've seen plenty of aim bots

It was patched once, this patch then unpatched them for some odd reason.

nonetheless , i would like to recommend whoever makes the servers to create domination servers , which this game lacks. i know it's a voluntary work , but alot of players will appreciate it . Domination ain't fun in 4D1 without proper killstreaks :evil: what? Killstreaks 11 and above are disabled in objective gametypes on 4D1...right? You can re-enable them. Most servers don't
