Update: Thanks to lmaobox, we now know that bot chat is the root cause of the problem with RSE-based mods. The word "hacker", when typed, causes a fatal error (the one you and I have all undoubtedly encountered before.

 

In lieu of this, I will be working on a bot chat patch that removes the word of doom from the script and returns RSE to a playable state in 4D1. That update will also be included in v6.4 of the Specialist Strike Package mod, which I will release shortly thereafter as a tie-in to the general RSE patch.

 

As for the original purpose of this thread, my request remains that, for the time being, users do not post new threads regarding the issue. Now that we know the core of the problem, I'll go in and fix it. For now, just be patient and sit tight.

Devmaps are no different from private matches in the sense that they are started locally and not through a dedicated server. As long as you aren't on a dedi, you're going to have problems.

The problem can NOT be that laughably simple xD

 

Let me know if you're serious and I'll go in and patch the bot voice chat and release an update. I know exactly where and how to do that.
