My game crashes on startup ever since the update that was released today. However it is only tied to this account, I try with my friends or a side account and it works perfectly on the same computer.

 

Please any assistance would be appreciated, however, do note that I have already gone through the help/fixes thread.

We need more details. does it create a .dmp file in your MW2 folder? like this for example...

It actually didnt create dmp files previously, but i managed to force a dmp creation by deleting the caches. So Here is the file:

 

And I am playing with a side account till I can fix this problem.

Run it it compatibility mode for xp sp3 and as Administrator, if this still doesn't work go into appdata > local and delete the iw4m folder then re-install 4d1.

I have tried that, I tried everything and it only happens to that one specific account, no other account that I log into.

My Server is not running with my Mod with new Update! I am now Downgrade.... to old Version (works)
