Hi Guys I'm back at my interest of modding and I am here to develop the old US Eastern Co-op Zombies from vivi57.

 

Unlike USECCZ with no release this one will difinitely have since I will be developing things myself.

Unlike my old topic in AlterIW of using hud_icons this one

will use colored Hud icons of every loadOut that you will be having:

Animated zombies with heads [old].

You can't hurt yourself but you can suicide [old].

Zombie Spawner that supports all the map including modded maps and even for the new maps if there will be any such. Old school ways of spawning zombie models is just depricated [old].

Zombies Carry Guns with random akimbo... They changed guns everytime they change animation [new]

Colored weapon and equipments Hud [new]

Co-op Headicons [old]

Zombies Respawner = spawns zombies nearest to you wherever you are in all maps [old]

Supports all the map in normal mode [old]

Cooperative gametype [old]

Customized Revive System in Free-for-all Gametype [old]

POWERFUL WEAPONS:

Desert Eagle Gold = rpg bullets. [old]

USP45 akimbo = thumper bullets. [old]

 

SECRET FEATURES: you'll have to find them to use them.

c4 purchase box [old] to be modified to link to zombies when c4 hits them.

Trap purchase box [old] //to be replaced with the buyable helicopters.

some maps have weapons scattered around.

rundown map has a different feature. every time you kill the zombies a weapon will be dropped. giving you weapons for free but this map is so hard since you've got nothing but weapon drops[old]

 

BONUS DROPS:

KA-BOOM [old] now with a little bit of revision once it Drops an AirStrike will come to kill

all zombies that spawned. This is the perfect compliment for the old kaboom bonus that explodes all

the spawned zombies around.

FIRESALE [old] guns will cost $10 for 30 seconds.

MAX-AMMO [old] gives the maximum ammo for your weapons. Note that it will only give clip stock. It will not give ammo to your empty magazine which means you'll have to reload when it comes.

INSTA-KILL [old] One shot Kill for 30 seconds.

All AirStrikes[new] yet to be modded.

Yes you can try this when it's complete. however it won't be that much soon since I am still working for some crazy loops that makes the players have a hard time joining the test server.

 

I'm currently working with the air Supports,

below are those that I already manage to work:

Pavelow = distance sensitivity tweak support

Turret = distance sensitivity tweak support

if you are a modder you can tweak its sensitivity value to shoot only in your preferred range.

 

I think this two is just the same helicopter at all

note that this helicopters can shoot missiles when their turret is having hard time maneuvering just how it acts in the normal game play but this time it shoots missiles at zombies randomly while it is in the air unlike in the normal game play that it can shoot only once to protect itself from other harriers risk.

Also it's turret is more powerful than pavelow helicopter.

 

I will upload the test videos when I have enough time for you guys to see

My test maps are the following:

iw4 test map

roadkill

gulag

oilrig

contingency

burger town

trainer

pripyat

whatever map pokes - new released or not yet released they are all 100% immediately supported by my zombie spawner for testing.

Here is the Helicopters that I was talking about...

Note: They have a normal track and fly system as in the normal gameplay and they can detect zombies as if the zombies are enemy players. Note that you can ride your cobra helicopter just for over watch view while it is shooting every zombies around however it is not included in this video but it already is exist now and I'm already enjoying in riding the cobra helicopter. Trust me it is a very nice view from above.

 

We also now support Minigun Helicopter with its modded tracking system. in normal game play it tracks for enemy players now it tracks for the zombies as if the zombies are the ones that are enemies. Note that we are in Free-for-all game type yet we detect only zombies.However the FOFOverlay isn't supported though.

 

Update for Pavelow Sensitivity: Now is more Highly Sensitive for zombies it now matches the sensitivity of Cobra Helicopter.

Suggestions:

Change 1 to Round 1

Move Zombies = to middle left of the hud and like this "Zombies Spawned

XXX"

Remove the gun logo.. use the one from AIZombies that's just weird looking IMO.

Everything else looks good.

Those Huds aren't yet exactly going to be as they are in the release. I still need a more bit of arrangements on it like the image below. I just hope i will not exceed in the number of huds that you can spawn because I already have 7 headicons used by the players all along the game. I see that i can only spawn a total of 14 Icons shaders beyond this number the other will not spawn in the screen.

 

As for the gun Hud - that is not a logo, that is a weapon Hud - it changes-popup when you change your weapon. and i like that being there ;)

 

I will adapt the idea for "ROUND 1" but I would like to change it to "WAVE 1" to feel it more like in Co-op mode of mw2

 

also the icon shaders that aren't yet bought is going to be faded like as what you can notice in the sketch.

Sorry for you guys if the huds are a little bit to crowded - it's just that i might be a hud addict I guess? 8-)

Can't you use a DynDNS Service for your test server? I would really like to try that out.

 

I can use dynamic IP however players are always gonna be stuck at setting up game. I have no problems like this if I host the game in my home county but here in middle east is a big problem for me. they seems to have a very strict connectivity rules.

I mean in WaW and Black Ops Zombies, you also cannot see, how many zombies are remaining, otherwise, you would calm down the lower that value gets. And then it gets like: "this must be the last one, don't kill him!". Just remove that and move the Wave counter below the Minimap. Then it is perfect in my opinion.

Well-said ;) just as it was before. there were actually no zombies counter in the old version of this mod. I just added it before since i feel like knowing how much zombies are left to kill.

 

for the wave 1 being moved below the minimap - It's kinda fine but i don't wanna mess up the top portion of the screen with any hud because I feel like it will be some kind of strayed fragment of something, you know what I mean. But speaking about removing the zombies counter hud. I might move the wave hud in there instead.

 

Thanks for the ideas and making me in to light on the idea why the old version of this mod wasn't showing any counter drakulix.

I refrained of hosting lately since players are having troubles connecting by being stuck at "setting up game". But yesterday I retried on hosting the game and seems that players were able to have joined fast. The Test Server is up and running by now. screening some bugs that I could get. You could try searching for "Survivors-Coop-Zombies" or "Ghilllie". I don't need to put ip's since ip's changes everytime the connection is down.

a bit of update related to my latest video preview for the helicopter FFAR AKA cobra helicopter.

It now shoots 5 consecutive guided missiles with a second gap of time in one another every time the missile is triggered. Once the first missile is deployed and killed the target zombie - the following missile will automatically get diverted to another next target zombie. I'm gonna be recording a video for this for you guys to see when I have enough time. though check it out the good news below.

here's what I am saying at the above post plus the stinger and the javelin that I've managed to open the "unlocking required" to support at zombies as if the zombies are players. I've just found the way to make it work last week so I now include it in the video.

Looking real good! Is all maps supported or is it supported for only a few, right now I mean.

 

All maps including ported and yet to be ported or even if you are developing a fresh new map - you can use this mod and it will automatically spawn zombies [with heads] and gun drops for you ;) . If you tweak the mod and wanna wonder it by spawning yourself everywhere even outside the map - then you will always get the zombies to spawn near in your area.

 

for ported maps and yet to be ported maps You guys will of course don't get the purchase crates since I will not add them. The reason is that, I found the mod very buggy on those new maps since they are not yet officially added to mw2 files but surely you can still enjoy the new ported maps since I put the feature from rundown map which you'll get a weapons drops in your location every time you kill a zombie. So you guys can just pick up guns of your choice plus you'll have your kill streaks and you will be juggernauts by default. So have fun with all this renowned new IW4M maps with SCZ in it.

 

and oh! levelling up just like the normal gametype is totally supported. I've gotten prestige and had so many unlockables and emblems solely just by testing the mod. As you guys can see in the preview - I've gotten promoted:D
