Hey there, buddies!

I present you my first custom camo which is yet to have a name for the time being. It is a cool black camo with somewhat-dark blue stars on it. (Actually, most of the stars be half and quarter-stars because of edges of weapons ) It has 2 versions one being named " - More" and the another " - Less". Having more or less stars on it respectfully. I think less stars are better for weapons with moar edges on it (intervention, maybe ? 8-) ), and moar stars are better for moar flat weapons like ACR or some parts of Vector. You can have both at the same time.

 

Installation :

There are 2 files named more and less as I stated before. they have name weapon_camo_xxxx, change xxxx to a camo name you want it to be overwritten.

 

Camo Names :

woodland
red_urban
red_tiger
orange_fall
digital
desert
blue_tiger
arctic

 

An example name would look like this : weapon_camo_woodland.iwi

 

You can have More and Less on different camos, example, More would overwrite woodland, where less overwrites desert.

 

 

Then, open your Modern Warfare 2 folder. Lead into main/ folder. Open iw_07.iwd file with WinRAR or any archiver program you use.

 

TAKE BACKUPS OF ORIGINAL CAMO FILES BEFORE DOING THIS STEP!!!!11111oneoneone11!!!!1!!1!1!

Drag&drop the camo file there, overwrite if asked so.

Troubleshooting :

1) IT DOESNT WORK OMG YOU BROKE MY GAME WTF DONT DOWNLOAD VIRUS TROJAN F**KS GAME !!!!111111

 

------Put your backup (you didnt back up, did you?) back into iw_07.iwd and get out of this topic, NOW.

 

2) It makes my game crash/freeze/black screen, what shoud I do?

 

------Thanks for your feedback. Double check if you copied the right file with right name. If you have black screen/ hear an error sound, alt+tab or alt+enter and see the error message, and write it here. If your game freezes, wait 1 minute, if no hope, try overwriting woodland, not other camos. If still no hopez, message me, and use your backup while I try to solve the problem.

Why would you release iwi files and not iwd files... just ovveride whatever cammo you want and if people really want to change it then they can. Also your topic title is of no help at all.

Lol, just when i released my camos, I see three other topics releasing camos. Anyways, the camos are nice. Just get a better title.

Why would I upload 200 MB file, and you would download 200 MB file, instead of just putting iwi, which takes less than 20 seconds? Also sorry for title I remember I wrote Custom Camo but ... :? :oops:

um... just make an iwd that has just your iwi file in it in the images/ folder and call it z_mahcammos.iwd and give it to people... I dont know when this became the common practice for distributing cammos files..
