Alright, I have a few questions about the IW4M mod engine and I couldn't seem to find the answers.
I see that, for example, on my iSnipe server, every client has to re-download the map. Is there a way that I could stop this from happening?
Right now, I'm placing the IWD file in a folder inside the mods folder. IE, mods/is3/isnipe.iwd, and loading it via console and it works.
I joined another iSnipe server, and I didn't have to download. It's like it was on aIW, and they used the same iSnipe mod derivation that I used but there was definitely no download. How would I go about doing this? I've heard discussion of placing it in a 'raw' directory but I don't quite understand, so I would appreciate some pointers.
Are any IWDs placed in m2demo just executed and not transferred server-side like mods are?
Thanks in advance, I appreciate the hard work that you guys do.
