Considering the popularity and that they announced that Luna Haruna will preform the second season's ED, there will be a 2nd season.

That song was called Overfly iirc and it is used as the ED for the second arc(ALO), not season

 

I agree though, a 2nd season is quite likely, they would be stupid if they did not make one with those sales and the popularity of SAO.
