Is there any use left in the old aiw install? Or is it just a 7-8gb waste in my HD. IВґve read some here that say theyВґve played mw2, and I would like to know whether it is possible. The IW4M NTA is working on requires you to own the steam version, so you might as well download the game on steam and delete the MP/Skidrow rip. There is also another project call x. They are attempting to continue the AlterIW project. (although they just stole it, but whatever)

I'm quite certain your aIW files can be of some use; though you could also just make a copy of your Steam folder when you want to play IW4M.

Well NTA said he will put IW4M on Public SVN so, when that comes up, then you will probably see a use in the aIW files to play again.
