Is 4D1 compatible with windows 8 ? i thinking of upgrading .. if not please tell me..

Yes, I've managed to get it working without any tweaking for 64bit developer preview, I guess that the consumer preview or release preview will work just as well

For anyone that's having issues, ensure that when you installed MW2 (however you did so ) you installed all the extra stuff that it asks you to install after the installation. As well as that, you can try running it in compatibility mode.
